I've been managing the direct and online marketing (social media, social networking, online presence management, keywords optimization for SEO) of the company.

In parallel to my main job as Marketing Manager for GxP Language Services, I also act as a consultant, trainer, coach and conference speaker on Social Media & Internet Marketing, SEO and Online Branding for translators, linguists and within the translation industry in general but also for small businesses in other industries. My clients portfolio includes: a music teaching business, a 4 stars hotel-restaurant, freelance translators, a graphic designer business, an advertising agency and more recently a politician running for the 2012 French elections.

Translators without Borders (TWB) is an independent non-profit association established in 1993, dedicated to helping NGOs extend their humanitarian work by providing free, professional translations. The funds saved through the use of volunteer translations can then be used by the NGOs in the field, enabling them to extend the scope and reach of their humanitarian work. Translators Without Borders was originally meant to provide free translations for Doctors Without Borders. Today this pro bono work assists organisations such as Médecin du Monde, AIDES, FIDH, Secours Populaire, Handicap International or the International Alliance of Independent Publishers.

Lyon, France

The Cours Vidor (Lyons, France) is a secondary school specialized in helping teenagers with social, behavioural and/or academic difficulties. Based on the concept of very small groups and a very familial structure, the school hosts between 40 and 60 pupils from 12 to 16/17. Helped by a team of social workers, a psychologist and educators, the small teaching team aims at helping the kids overcome their personal/familial problems, social or behaviour problems or learning difficulties in order to reinsert them as soon as possible in the classic school system or in apprenticeships.

I worked 2 full academic years at Cours Vidor: 2005-2006 and 2007-2008.
