Mechanical Engineer
I am an "English" Engineer, with Solidworks 2011 and Unigraphics (NX3) experience, also trained as a First Line Manager.
Following 6 years with Lafarge Roofing Technical Centers in England (including secondments of 6 months in Germany and 15 months in France) designing roof tiles, I have now moved on to one of Lafarge's suppliers, a mould maker in Germany (Banke GmbH).
Not only I am designing clay roof tiles now, but also everything which is required to produce them such as aluminium moulds, pickerheads...
Part of my job also includes taking care of customers, from France of course, but also from Poland, Portugal and Germany.
6 contacts2000 - 2007R & D of the roofing branch of Lafarge, providing new projects (new tile design), testing and Technical Support to all the national Business Units of Lafarge.
Personal achievements:
Design and development of 2 clay roof tiles and their fittings, which are currently on the French market .
